LangGraph ReAct + A2UIThe agentic front door: reasons with tools, proposes new workflows, and can launch UI on its own.
Shared platform component. Domain applications are documented separately.
Acorn is the seed of autonomy. A LangGraph ReAct agent (Oracle) reasons over gated tools (live stock info, news, prices, all served through Grove’s v3 API), answers in natural language, and can drive the UI itself via Agent-to-UI. A discovery loop lets it propose entirely new workflows that Grove can accept and run, with no human in the loop.
Reasons step-by-step over tools, grounded with the current date and live data, then answers in markdown.
get_stock_info / news / prices are thin v3 calls: no direct DB access, user-scoping enforced server-side, outputs injection-wrapped.
The agent can launch a real Grove workflow screen inline: reasoning that ends in an interactive UI, not just text.
Runs without a user: proposes new workflow definitions, sends them through Canopy to Grove, which validates and makes them launchable.
An installed domain registers its own agent tools at startup, so the agent gains domain skills (read a watchlist, check a goal's investments) without editing core acorn.
Acorn's Oracle is a LangGraph ReAct agent: it thinks, calls a tool, observes, and repeats until it can answer. Its tools are deliberately thin and gated: get_stock_info, get_news, get_prices are v3 calls into Grove, with no direct database access, user-scoping enforced on the server, and every tool/RAG output injection-wrapped before it re-enters the prompt. Its model calls run through Cambium's cost discipline.
Agent-to-UI is the leap from chatbot to operator: Oracle can launch a real Grove workflow screen inline. A conversation that concludes “let’s set this goal” doesn’t hand you a paragraph, it opens the actual goal-creation flow.
The discovery loop runs with no user present. Acorn proposes new workflow definitions; they travel through Canopy to Grove’s acceptance endpoint, which validates them (DAG checks, a tool allowlist with no destructive actions, fail-closed) before they become launchable. The platform can extend itself, within fences.
